Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a project based pretest posttest assessment of the use of coffee husks. This study used the research and development method of the ADDIE model until the development stage. At the analysis stage, a literature study and a preliminary study were conducted. At the design stage, planning and preparation of an initial draft in the form of a pretest-posttest assessment were carried out. In the development stage, two science education experts validated the suitability of the content and construction of the pretest-posttest assessment with Torrance's creative thinking skills indicator framework. The product of the validation results was then responded to the suitability of the content and construction aspects of creative thinking skills indicators by the three science teachers. The results of expert validation and teacher responses indicated that the pretest posttest assessment instrument product is very suitable to be used to measure students' creative thinking skills in integrated learning based on coffee peel utilization projects.Keywords: pretest posttest assessment, coffee peel utilization projects, creative thinking. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kreatif menggunakan asesmen pretes postes berbasis proyek pemanfaatan kulit kopi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE.Pada tahap analysis dilakukan studi literatur dan studi pendahuluan. Pada tahap desain, dilakukan perencanaan dan penyusunan draft awal dalam bentuk asesmen pretes-postes. Pada tahap develop, dua pakar pendidikan IPA memvalidasi kesesuaian isi dan konstruksi asesmen pretes-postes dengan kerangka indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif Torrance. Pada tahap implementasi, asesmen diterapkan ke 31 siswa di SMP Al Quran Miftahul Ulum Bukit Kemuning. Implementasi produk kemudian digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa,dan hasil menunjukkan bahwa produk instrumen asesmen pretes-postes sangat cocok digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran terpadu berbasis proyek pemanfaatan kulit kopi.Kata kunci: asesmen pretes postes, proyek kulit kopi, berpikir kreatif.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i1.pp13-24

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a performance assessment based on the cassava peel waste processing project. This research uses methods of research and development 4D models which are only carried out until the stage of develop. At the define stage, a literature study and a preliminary study are carried out. At the design stage, planning and preparation of the initial draft are carried out in the form of performance assessments. In the develop stage, two science education experts validated the suitability of the content and construction of the performance assessment instrument to Torrance’s framework of indicators creative thinking skills. The product of the validation results was then responded to the suitability of the content and construction aspects of the indicators of creative thinking skills by three science teachers. The results of expert validation and teacher responses indicate that the performance assessment instrument product is very suitable to be used to assess student performance in integrated science learning based on cassava peel waste treatment projects.Keywords: performance assessment, cassava peel waste project, creative thinking skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrument asesmen kinerja berbasis proyek pengolahan limbah kulit singkong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model 4D yang hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop. Pada tahap define dilakukan studi literatur dan studi pendahuluan. Pada tahap desain, dilakukan perencanaan dan penyusunan draft awal dalam bentuk asesmen kinerja. Pada tahap develop, dua orang ahli Pendidikan IPA memvalidasi kesesuaian isi dan konstruksi instrumen asesmen kinerja terhadap indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif Frame Work Torrance. Produk hasil validasi selanjutnya direspon aspek kesesuaian isi dan konstruksinya terhadap indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif oleh tiga orang guru IPA. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop an Integrated Science Student Worksheet Immersed based on the use of corn cobs to improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students. This study uses the ADDIE research and development method by Dick and Carry. The results obtained, namely expert validation, showed that the average percentage of the aspect of content conformity to basic competencies was 92.07 percent and the construction aspect of the student worksheet component was 100 percent with very high criteria. The effectiveness of student worksheets in terms of n-gain and effect size , respectively, is of 0.93 and 0.95 with large criteria. Based on this, the immersed integrated science student worksheet  based on the corn cob processing project is effective for improving the creative thinking skills of junior high school students.Keywords: student worksheets, project-based learning, creative thinking. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik IPA Terpadu model Immersed berbasis proyek pemanfaatan tongkol jagung untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan ADDIE oleh Dick and Carry. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh yaitu Validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase aspek kesesuaian isi terhadap kompetensi dasar sebesar 92,07 persen dan aspek konstruksi terhadap komponen lembar kerja peserta didik sebesar 100 persen dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Keefektifan lembar kerja peserta didik ditinjau dari n-gain dan effect size berturut-turut sebesar sebesar 0,93 dan 0,95 dengan kriteria besar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, lembar kerja peserta didik IPA terpadu immersed  berbasis proyek pengolahan tongkol jagung efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.Kata kunci: lembar kerja peserta didik, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, berpikir kreatif.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i1.pp294-303

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe teachers’ perceptions towards students worksheets based on bagasse waste processing projects to improve students' creative thinking skills. This research was conducted in Lampung Province involving 42 junior high school science teachers. This study uses the ADDIE research and development method by Branch. At the analysis stage, performance analysis and needs analysis are carried out. At the development stage, two education experts validated the suitability of the content with project-based learning steps and indicators of creative thinking skills according to Torrance and validated the suitability of the construction with the components of the student worksheets. At the implementation stage, it will be tested in class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi. The evaluation stage is by evaluating the results of students after the learning is carried out. The success of increasing students' creative thinking skills is seen based on the results of n gain and effect size.Keywords: students’ worksheet, project based learning, creative thinking skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru terhadap pengembangkan lembar kerja berbasis proyek pengolahan limbah ampas tebu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Lampung dengan melibatkan 42 guru IPA SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan ADDIE. Pada tahap analisis dilakukan analisis kinerja dan analisis kebutuhan. Pada tahap pengembangan, dua pakar pendidikan melakukan validasi kesesuaian isi dengan langkah pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif menurut Torrance dan validasi kesesuaian konstruksi dengan komponen lembar kerja siswa. Pada tahap implementasi akan diujicobakan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi. Tahap evaluasi yaitu dengan mengevaluasi hasil siswa setelah pembelajaran dilakukan. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the teachers perception of problem solving based laboratory activities to improve the problem-solving skills of junior high school. This study involved 30 science teachers in Lampung. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The survey results show that 65 percent of science teachers have not carried out problem solving based laboratory activities in their learning activities. This is due to several factors including teachers not being able to manage time in learning activities and limited tools and materials in school laboratories. Whereas on environmental pollution material for class VII of Junior High School, students can be invited to carry out laboratory activities based on solving real problems such as water pollution by laundry industrial waste. Based on the survey results, it can be said that the laboratory activity program is needed by teachers and students to improve students' problem solving skills.Keywords: laboratory activities, problem-based learning, problem solving skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru tentang aktivitas laboratorium berbasis pemecahan masalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP. Penelitian ini melibatkan 30 guru IPA di Lampung. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa 65 persen guru IPA belum melaksanakan aktivitas laboratorium berbasis pemecahan masalah dalam kegiatan pembelajarannya. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor diantaranya guru tidak mampu mengatur waktu dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan keterbatasan alat dan bahan di laboratorium sekolah. Sedangkan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan untuk kelas VII SMP, siswa dapat diajak untuk melakukan kegiatan laboratorium berdasarkan pemecahan masalah nyata seperti pencemaran air oleh limbah industri laundry. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop  centrifugation tool to improve performance in the laboratory and problem solving skills. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with 4D model. The results showed that the developed centrifuge was declared according to the material, had educational value, was durable, precise in measurement, efficient and safe for students based on the responses of teachers and students respectively at 100% and 96.15% with very high criteria. Student performance scores in the laboratory have a distribution close to the average student performance score (91.52). The effectiveness of the application of centrifugation using the students’ worksheet obtained good results in improving problem solving skills with moderate criteria (0.60) and giving moderate effect (0.42). Based on these results, the developed centrifuge was declared effective for improving laboratory performance and problem solving skills. Keywords: centrifuge, student performance, problem solving. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat sentrifugasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja di laboratorium dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model 4D. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat sentrifugasi hasil pengembangan dinyatakan sesuai materi, memiliki nilai pendidikan, tahan lama, tepat dalam pengukuran, efisien serta aman bagi siswa berdasarkan tanggapan guru dan siswa masing-masing sebesar 100% dan 96,15% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Nilai-nilai kinerja siswa di laboratorium memiliki persebaran yang dekat dengan nilai rata-rata kinerja siswa (91,52). Keefektifan penerapan alat sentrifugasi dengan mengguna¬kan lembar kerja siswa diperoleh hasil yang baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dengan kriteria sedang (0,60) dan memberikan pengaruh sedang (0,32). Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop a sublimation tool to improve problem solving skills and performance in the laboratory. The research method used is the Research and Development (R and D) method with a 4D model. The research sample consisted of control and experimental classes. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the developed sublimation tool stated: (1) effective for use, it was obtained (1.64). In addition, the results of the development are also good in improving students' problem solving skills with n-gain (0.64) with high criteria (2) the results of responses from students' responses to the attractiveness aspect (100 percent), readability aspect (96.29 percent), and tool design (100 percent). Based on the results of research and development, it can be stated that the developed sublimation tool is effective for improving problem solving skills and performance in the laboratory and can be used in practical experiments in studying the material for separating mixtures with sublimation techniques. Keywords: development, sublimation, problem solving. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat sublimasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan kinerja di laboratorium  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R dan D) dengan model 4D. Selain itu, hasil pengembangan juga baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan n-gain (0,64) dengan kriteria tinggi (2) hasil tanggapan dari respon siswa pada aspek kemenarikan  (100 persen), aspek keterbacaan (96,29 persen), dan desain alat (100 persen). Abstract

Abstract Creative thinking skills have an important role to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students through a project-based learning model for processing cassava peel waste. This research method is quasi-experimental, non-equivalent pre-test-post-test control group design. The sample in this study was class VII students of SMPN 1 Purbolinggo, who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. The number of students in the control and the experimental classes was 32 people each. The instruments in this research are the Creative Thinking Skills Test and Performance Assessment. The results showed that the average N-gain for creative thinking skills in the experimental class was in the medium category (0.58), while on the control class, it was in the low category (0.29). Cohen's d coefficients for each indicator of creative thinking skills fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration; were 0.62, 0.58, 0.72, and 0.72, respectively, all in the medium category. However, Cohen's d coefficient effect size for the average N-gain overall creative thinking skills is 2.40, belonging to the very large category. Based on these results, it can conclude that the project-based learning model is effective with a very large effect on improving students' creative thinking skills.     Keywords creative thinking skills, project-based learning models, cassava peel waste. Abstrak Keterampilan berpikir kreatif adalah penting untuk menghadapi tantangan Abad 21.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP melalui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pengolahan limbah kulit singkong. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only pretest-posttest control group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII SMPN 1 Purbolinggo. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik puposive sampling. Jumlah siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen masing-masing sebanyak 32 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif dan Instrumen Asesmen Kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-gain keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sedang (0,58), sedangkan pada kelas kontrol berada pada kategori rendah (0,29). Koefisien d Cohen untuk masing-masing indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif kelancaran, keluwesan, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi; berturut-turut adalah 0,62, 0,58, 0,72, dan 0,72 yang semuanya termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Namun, ukuran efek koefisien d Cohen untuk rata-rata N-gain keterampilan berpikir kreatif secara keseluruhan adalah 2,40, termasuk dalam kategori sangat besar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif dengan pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa pengaruh yang sangat besar dari penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pengolahan limbah kulit singkong adalah pada sinergi keseluruhan indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif, bukan pada bagian-bagian yang terpisah-pisah.  Kata kunci keterampilan berpikir kreatif, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, limbah kulit singkong.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i4.pp1850-1861
